So in short, the use of social media as a marketing tool must be explored if you wish to grow your company to it's full potential. Used cleverly it can increase the traffic to your website, blog or application, which in turn increases your chances of getting that sale, new client or a whole contract.

Social media is one of the biggest growing sectors and is worth hundreds of millions each year. New apps and sites are constantly being developed, so you do need to keep up to speed on new technology and ways of using them to your advantage. There is virtually no place that the internet can't reach (within reason ie, places without electricity!) 
But how far does paper advertising reach, how much does it cost and how effective is it overall? 
Paper advertising is normally quite expensive and time consuming, it reaches out into the local area mainly,maybe a little further...and finally it's effectiveness, well how many people bother to keep the leaflet SAYS IT ALL! 
There are virtually no rules with the internet either, you can either follow in someone else's footsteps, treading on proven ground or step out on your own with new fresh ideas. It's up to you, you control your own promotion and indeed your own company's destiny.
